An Old Peoples’ Home Poem by Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

An Old Peoples’ Home

Rating: 5.0

also known as 'the last stop'
a cutting ill mannered remark
implying death as next final hop
wit of rude ill informed nark

i shall not to such a home
be hurled therein twirled
my true aspired to home
be called heaven pearled

my life sought true home defined
is not was never a hopeless part
of this material delusional world
materialism never bound my heart
