And Emptiness Becomes Perfect In Their Emptiness Poem by RIC BASTASA

And Emptiness Becomes Perfect In Their Emptiness

Rating: 4.0

always the sun shines
the moon shines
the night fades and light
spreads
everything happens the
way they happen
even if you are not there

and poems remain to be what
they are
even if no one's reading them

as the rivers flow to the sea
as the rains fall
as the stone stays put in their
weight
as the tree grows as the children
become men and women

everything happens as they do
even if we are not here
even if you are not what you are
anymore

i have not read you but you are
still you
and you have not read me
and here i am still what i am
and what i will be

fate and destiny
all move even without us
the songs sing themselves
the poems recite their lines
and emptiness becomes perfect
in their emptiness
