it is the distance
that makes me forget you

this distance promises
a cure for a broken heart

and so i went there
far far away from you only

to be betrayed by someone
who looks like you

who speaks like you who
smells like you who tastes

like you who smiles like
you who minds me like you

and here, so here i am still
wishing for you, because someone

here looks much like you, and
distance fails me, and i still

hurt, and bleed and i curse
this love, why it has to be you?

damn it, you are never mine and
i shall never be yours, this

love betrayed, this betrayal that
too betrays, and pain becomes us.
