And Then What? Poem by Old Teenage Poems

And Then What?

Rating: 5.0

Inside our echoing emotions
Abolished is the painful devotion
On and on you do this, smiling
When step by step I know that I'm dying
alone

Abandoned by all but
the scent of you
I'm left with the calm of a distant ocean blue
On tears I'm a sailor
abandoned

In corpse cold water
mortified I lay.

In the absence of hope I had you
and then what?
