Angel Star Poem by Holly Jamestone

Angel Star

She sparkles in the sky each night
Her light unlike no other
She flies her kite with Angels
And she’s Lisa’s precious Mother

She dots the clouds with memories
Her brain, now thirty-three
Remembers just the good times here
Before God set her free

She pushed her children on the swings
Her porch was always swept
Her kitchen wafted scents of love
All promises she kept

Now in the arms of Angels
They talk about her life
And challenge her with trivia
Her brain now knows no strife

She knows each moment vividly
Her eyes are soft and steady
She went to fly with Angels
When God said she was ready

She sparkles in the sky each night
Her presence never far
Her bulb is clearly brightest
She’s a precious Angel Star
