Angels Poem by Renee Waggoner

Angels

Angels help us out in life
No matter what the strife

Angels keep us from harm
Even though at times we become alarmed

Daniel was saved from the lions den
It was quite a story for him

Jacob saw them in a dream
They really looked supreme

Lot was visited by them
They gave him a warning, 'the place is condemned'

Mary saw one at Jesus' tomb
He told her good news so she wouldn't feel gloom

Angels can be humans in disguise
But, this is really no surprise

They brought in wood from the winter cold
For a woman who was too old

They helped a little boy get well
For this he wanted to yell

Angels are with us everyday
Have you seen one today?
