Angels. Poem by John C. Smith

Angels.

Rating: 5.0

Hear the wind in the shadows?
Yes my love.
Yes my love.
The wind is me.
The wind is me.

Hear the footsteps on the pavement?
Yes I do.
Yes I do.
That is me too.
That is me too.

See the light of day;
the dark of night?
I can see.
I can see.
I am both.
Both are me.

I am night and day.
Dark and light.
I am all you experience.
I am your nightmares and dreams.
From the moment of conception
to the moment of death.
I am your first and your last breath.
I begin your journey.
I end it too.
We are one
me and you.

Hear the wind in the shadows?
Yes I do.
Yes I do.
It is me
it is you.

You have a wonderful way with words. I see real talent between the lines. Thanks for sharing.
