It is the business
of being a dog-
to bark, get dirty and soak us,
to give sloppy kisses
to always be there;
at your feet, in your bed
by your side.
in the car and park
but internally in your heart.
that is the business
of being a dog-
a companion
a friend
an angel
sent to watch us from ones above
the one who thinks that You
and only You alone
are the centre of their universe.
Angels don't have wings and a halo
but four paws and a tail that wags.

This poem has not been translated into any other language yet.
I would like to translate this poem
really sweet and honest poems about dogs. [3
