We'Re The Monsters Poem by victoria foister

We'Re The Monsters

Rating: 4.4

There's a monster hiding
in the mirror

when I lean in closer
he comes nearer

he looks deep into my eyes
and sees the fear inside me

'hush baby hush' he whispers
'you're the only one who knows I'm here'

.Now. Look. In. Your. Mirror
your the only one who sees.

Lovely piece of poetry, well articulated and penned with insight. Nice poem indeed. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.

Small is beautiful. It is true for this poem too. There is a dark corner inside every man which takes the shape of a monster and (quote) .... he looks deep into my eyes / and sees the fear inside me. Realistic poem indeed. Thanks.
