Weeping Willow

Angels Hidden - Poem by Weeping Willow

Hidden from our eyes
Angels in disguise
God placed sight unseen
in the world
Helping us see life a little
Though shaded by shadows
and obscurity

In the deep parts of life
They linger near
To help us feel the beauty
that exist before
our eyes
We sometimes don't see
in our hurry pace
As we go rushing by with blinders
on our eyes

Pieces of life in a simple
Bring laughter and sometimes
In our heartaches and pain
Shuffling through shadows
We miss the beauty of God's
daily paintings
Drawing it's beauty around the shoulders
of life
Draped in colors
Filled with comfort and joy
within the tears of life

His angels stride by our side
Trying to open our eyes to the beauty
that sometimes fills the sky
Deep lavender with purple blues
Sets the sky afire
Drifting through dark blood clouds
of evening mist
As the sun protrudes in a last burst
of light
Before dissipating into night.
