Angry People Poem by Butterflies In My Belly Forever

Angry People

Rating: 4.8

Angry people, you see them all the time.
On the buses, on the streets, in the grocery line.
I swear I think it is hilarious to watch them huff and puff
and roll their eyes and shake thier hips...
LIke the cashier can magicly hurry up.
I never get impatient, I'm the one who talks,
I slow the cashier down and watch the woman behind me sqwauk!
We both get a tickle and the cashier catches on,
Those angry people...don't pass it on.

What about when you are driving and you have had ten tickets,
If you get another, your license is suspended.
That cannot happen you have too much to do,
A lot of people are counting on you.
So I you are sailing at and even fifty five,
And the person behind you is makeing faces you can't describe...
Jumping up and down like they have to pee,
And your thinking, 'No more tickets lady, Not for me'!

Then there are the people that hog the elevators,
Not sure how angry they are,
They have to be somewhat angry to not share the elevator car.
They see you scurrying down the hall and they hastily watch the light on the wall,
Sectretly hoping the elevator comes, that the woman will not get hurt...
but maybe slip and fall.
So the doors open and she makes it in time,
He looks her up and down and says 'Damn she's fine'.

The woman had realized he was an elevator hog,
So she told him she was a model..
had fortune and fame,
And he might have had a chance had he not played the game.

So all you angry people, I am watching you.
I get a great chuckle,
If you were me so would you.
Maybe if all the angry people would stop and observe,
Our world would be less of the terds!

You are so right. The blood pressure goes up in these folks and they aren't any further ahead. I just wrote a poem called Grazing... Just Grazing and how we can learn so much from the cow. I think we take life and ourselves way to seriously. Great poem - a '10! ' Best Wishes, Marilyn
