Anna Nicole Smith (In Memorial) Poem by Luke Easter

Anna Nicole Smith (In Memorial)

Rating: 0.5

Anna oh Anna, who knew these were the last days,
Heartache after heartache now forever gone away,
Constant tears flowing from make-up covered eyes,
At the death of Daniel, your once most coveted prize.

Glamour and beauty, was it really worth the fame?
Millions upon millions from the use of your name,
39 years of age, a life of stardom, you were consumed,
Is this the reason Miss Smith has checked out so soon?

Sadness seemed to so often adorned your lovely face,
Even with all the Cover Girl impeccably in its place,
Beauty is only skin deep as feelings we all try to hide,
And no one really understood the turmoil deep inside.

For a true understanding, the outer, God looks through,
Who will really ever know what was going on with you?
Grandfather billionaire husband, infamous Playboy Magazine,
Fast life in the fast lane; was it real or merely just a dream?

Relentless media coverage greater now than ever before,
CSI doing who knows what behind your hotel room door,
Fans, the public awaits, a Coroner an autopsy to perform,
Drug related Anna, no longer able to handle the storm?

Five-month old daughter lovingly referred to as Dannielynn,
Will she too grow up to be idolized by millions of men?
Courtrooms, movies, TV, commercials, lawsuits galore,
Or heavenly blessed with a life that you’d consider a bore.

This brings to mind another Hollywood Blonde Bombshell,
Facade filled heartache and unhappiness too numerous to tell,
Marilyn or Marilyn, isn’t this a reflection of your turbulent life?
Still not understanding it’s due to the absence of God & Christ.

Wear this; go there, lights flashing, stop, big smile my dear,
Did anyone ever say something you really wanted to hear?
Hopefully, prayerfully, a voice will whisper softly and say,
“Welcome home my child” but only for those who are saved.
