Annabel Lee Ii Poem by Mitchell Hamilton

Annabel Lee Ii

It was many and many a years now in the future
In a new kingdom by the sea,
That a maiden still lived whom you may know
By the name of my love ANNABEL LEE;
And this maiden she lived years without no other thought
Than to love and be loved only again by me

I was a man and she was no longer a child,
In this beautiful new kingdom by the sea;
But we loved with a love that was more than love- with each passing day
I and my new found rekindled love Annabel Lee;
With a love that the winged seraphs of heaven
Coveted her and me.

And this was the reason that, long ago, it was meant to be
In the new kingdom by the sea,
A wind blew out of a cloud, waking
My beautiful Annabel Lee;
So that her highborn kinsman came
To bring her back to the new kingdom by the sea.

The angels, now so happy in heaven,
No longer envying her and me-
Yes! - that was the reason (as all men know,
The new kingdom by the sea)
That the wind came waking by night,
my beautiful Annabel Lee.

But our love it not just love it's bound by eternity
neither the angels in heaven above,
Nor the demons down under the sea,
Can ever dissever my soul from the soul
Of the beautiful Annabel Lee.

For the moon still beams
bringing me dreams
Of the beautiful living Annabel Lee;
And the stars rise I feel the bright eyes
Of the beautiful Annabel Lee;
And so, all the night-tide, She stands by my side by
Of my darling- my darling- my life and my eternal bride
