Annu Malik Poem by Abdulrazak Aralimatti

Annu Malik

A close friendship developed
And they both got enveloped

My brother Malik and cousin Anwar
Who merged like meeting river

In their late teens
To withhold friendship reigns

Decided to be friends forever
With a great passion and fever

Reached to their peak age
Managing each other's rage

Equal partners in business
Acquired popularity and richness

Though time and many tried their best
They passed the friendship test

Though both have their weakness
Manage with great closeness

Though both proud and ambitious
Are moral, spiritual and religious

Though both struggle to build an empire
Give alms, charity and attire

An example of true friendship
Portrayed in life's hardship

Their true friendship, I adore
The everlasting friendship, I assure
