Another day you take of mine
Another piece of my heart
Is left behind
I realize I can't make you happy.
So I'm forced to set you free.
Another day, you'll understand;
I loved you enough to see
You should've always been there,
To teach him right from wrong.
You chose to leave when he needed you,
For another who came along.
In my life, I thought you'd always be,
Another wrong thought-
It was never up to me
Maybe someday you'll find a future
That will make you want to stay
I thank God for you in my life,
At least for another day.
