Another Day - Poem by Bill Hallsworthy

will tomorrow be a better day?
am I destined to live the same way?
the same crap over and over
I might as well be in a coma

on the outside I'm just one big liar
inside I'm raging with fire
I can't take the stress
I'm a bloody mess

What am I to do?
I wouldn't have a clue
mabey another drink
it 'might' help me think

I drink to ease the pain
the pain of the every day strain
the strain on my brain
that happens again and again

nobody knows what its like
for everyday is an uphill hike

I want to sleep in bed all day
sleep the day away
mabey tomorrow will bring something better my way.
