Another Day At The Office Poem by Justin Gildow

Another Day At The Office

The sun shines through my window
And it's that time agains that I know
I wake up, get out of bed, take a shower
After that, breakfast waits for me
I think about this normal work day as I eat and drink
Outside the flowers in the dirt are dancing for all those to see
On this regular weekday morning

It's just another day at the office
Another day of work
But the sun's out
I feel good vibes are on my side
As I drive

It's just another day at the office
And sometimes the hours go by slow
Or they go by fast
But I enjoy working the best I can
Doing my job the best I can

After 8 hours I punch out for the day
I hold my head up and smile
As I head toward my car
And think to myself as I drive home
Reflecting back
On another day at the office
