Another Day, Charming Poem by Cookie Matzii

Another Day, Charming

Rating: 5.0

You're a very fine man,
the one everyone adores.
With just a flash of a smile,
I bet: No one, you'll bore.

You're not like these cocky fellas,
who think they're so cool and hot.
You got that boyish vibe going on,
that drives girls crazy a lot.

For 3 consecutive years,
you never left my mind
because I guess I always thought,
'Another you, I'll never find.'

Although you never gave me a chance
because you were in love with someone else,
I'll never grow tired;
I'll go through every wishing well.

You see, there's still a part of me
believing, hoping that we're really meant to be
because I believe in those magical first-touch moments
that most find cheesy.

You were always my dream boy,
I guess most girls' too.
But who can blame them?
You're practically a god with dimples, two.

Still, I try to picture in my head:
You and I happily together.
This moment, I've been praying for;
I've been waiting for forever.

Any day, I'll scream my lungs out;
songs unsung, to you, I'll sing.
If it helps, I just want you to know:
To me, you'll always be an exceptionally charming king.
