Another Dream - Poem by Edwina Reizer

I've had another dream I say
And in that dream I had my way.
I did not ask what I should do.
My reverie just allowed me to
Play and romp, then soar up high,
Reach my hand up to the sky,
Touch a star and feel its heat,
Fill my heart start to beat
louder, stronger then quiet down.
When I awoke I looked around
And things were as they were before.
I closed my eyes, tried dreaming some more.
But dreams like that never come my way.
So I must remember this one and say
"Why not
