If thou canst move mountains,
canst thou move my heart as well?
That it may beat as it should,
freed from sorrow's spell.
If I with thee can walk on waters,
canst thou dry these tears for me?
That I may tread in peace,
and weep no more, set free.
If I with thee can do all things,
then why can't I love him back?
That I may fill with kindness
the emptiness I lack.
If thou canst guide my journey,
canst thou lead me to the path
that brings me to forgiveness,
and helps me heal at last?
That I may, in true goodness,
find the grace to forgive myself,
and live with a heart renewed,
released from any stealth.
