One of my more Christian songs.

She's nothing and all alone.
To all those people, she's unknown.
She sits at home with a knife in her fist;
lusting after the touch of steel,
has it really come to this?

The shutters close and darkness thrives,
the record player on the knife's side.
She's surrounded in sorrow
draped in a black obsession
she's got no hope of tomorrow.

When that feeling is her only escape
it's like hiding in a herse.
When the headphones cause nothing but tears and scars
things can only get worse.

You're not alone like you feel inside.
Don't give in, someones on your side.
If you let despair take over,
it'll be worse than you fear.
It's not as bad as some say.

Tears pour down her face,
but no blood stains the blade
and the knife falls to the floor.
That forgotten book of Another's story she read
of one's blood already spilt for her.
