Another Seascape. Poem by john o'connell

Another Seascape.

another seascape.

the occasional gull
glints in a benign sun
against a sky
not hungry for clouds.
everything smells of salt,
sea-weed and companionable cliffs
while the backbone of mountains
is drowned in an azure haze.
