Another Woman Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Another Woman

I hear about your place
You are hiding with peace
I suffer here with isolation
You have ended up the relation

I offered you all my treasure
You were sure
To understand it as mature
I took you as my bright future

You soon had another thing
You separated me from holy ring
You went to far off island
To befriend another woman’s end

I waited here with wet eyes
Daily dropping tears with desperate try
You remained unconcerned and cutoff
I had plight and agony as hard stuff

I wish you good stay
But don’t run away
Again to desert another woman
As it shall then be called inhuman
