Antidote Poem by Kyle.J Carruthers

Antidote

Rating: 4.5

You want a resistance?
Then resist yourself.

There’s no flag large enough
No speech long enough
No antidote strong enough

You want a resistance?
Then resist yourself.

There’s no mind smart enough
No love pure enough
No answers in the dust

You want a resistance?
Then resist yourself.

There’s No money worth enough
No air clean enough
No scream loud enough

Lets sew a flag large enough
Lets write a speech long enough
Lets mix an antidote strong enough
To cure this world of the sickness called war.
