Anxiety Poem by Sarah Zurakovsky

Anxiety

Scared of what to believe and what i feel,
Im aware im alive yet nothing is real.

My blood frozen yet burning inside,
My mind running away but no where to hide.

The pounding i feel in my heart,
From deep within tearing me apart.

All i want is for the feeling to go,
It feeds on my fear and continues to grow.

I know it will pass i just have to wait,
But the feeling too powerful, the fear to great.

Maybe this time it will stay too long,
And me myself, too weak not stong.

What to do when there is no where to turn,
I shall turn to myself and there the answer i'll learn.
