Gambling, Please Stop Poem by Sarah Zurakovsky

Gambling, Please Stop

A roll of the dice, a spin of the wheel,
You carry on though you know how i feel.

A click of a button is all that it takes,
But every time its one more mistake.

You are only happy when you win,
Just one more, just one more, only one more spin,

Its the last time, i promise, i swear,
It's only ten pounds, why should you care?

I say 'no' you say im controlling,
It's your money what you have been earning,

What about me and all that i give?
I want you to stop so that we can live.

You wont stop you get angry, upset,
All if you cannot do one more bet,

I don't know what to do to help you to quit,
Please say that it's over please say 'that's it'.
