Sunrise Poem by Sarah Zurakovsky

Sunrise

Flowers blooming and sun rising bright,
Illuminating the day after the night.

Dew glinting on the blades of grass,
Tears of a night come to pass.

The breeze refreshing the skin on my face,
Awakening me for what is about to take place.

Birds singing the song for a new day,
Beautiful sunrise for a moment I stay.
