Smiling sharks beneath the sea,
Never ever worried me.
Now I'm afraid of all I see...
Surrounded by anxiety
I try to breathe
breathe out..breathein.
Relax and let the peace begin,
but what I get no one can see...
I'm drowning in anxiety
My chest goes up, but lungs have ceased,
and air can never be released.
The hands of fear all claw at me....
I'm ruled by my anxiety
Worries and deep concerns we angst and fret over to cruelly wear thin or dissolve completely our resolve. More so now in these troubling unhealthy times. But Lodigiana things change and for the better, take things as they are and live by that day by day mantra and regime. My late father taught me.There will always be people worse off than you, for that's life, just do the best you can. Thanks for sharing your message poem and five stars. Take care and remain poetry blessed. Shaun.x.
Lodigiana A great write about the once taboo subject of anxiety. Writing about it helps I find. You might like my poem 'Call To Arms' on this same subject. Paul

Hi Shaun, your words really do strike a chord with me..life is ever changing...always! ..and todays anxiety becomes tomorrows memory.. and particularly now that we take life one day at a time...and as you so wisely say..just do the best we can. Thank you so much my friend and always stay well and wise as I clearly know you are. Lodigiana x
