Anxious For Nothing Poem by Phil Daniels

Anxious For Nothing

Anxious for nothing be
Like the flower under Thee
Along comes the humming bee
Takes the pollen just for free

Lilies girded oh so fine
Didn't cost, no not a dime
Solomon's clothes they did refine
All supplied by One Divine

Anxious for nothing be
Like the birds up in the tree
Sowing not as you can see
Reaping daily all for free

Grasses cover all the land
Harvest gathered by the hand
Ovens burn to ashes bland
His eyes do see, all has scanned

Anxious for nothing beat
Knows your body's need to eat
Raiment and cover on your feet
For all your needs He will meet

Even though you are the least
Father invites you to His feast
No stores or barns for the beast
Come drink your fill, drink His peace
