Anxiousness Poem by Jessi Hardison

Anxiousness

Here I am
On this quest
Though I vow to trigger emotion
I am not here to jest

I am wanting - miserable
My plan is to inspire learning
Then leave you as anxious as I
Broken and yearning

I am aware this is a horrible thing to do
Yet do it I must
I sit here groveling
Begging for someone to trust

To be trustworthy
Must be difficult to do
I am infected by this curse
And I must pass it on to you
