Anymore

I'm not mad anymore,
I think I understand.
You couldn't take care of me,
So God held my hand.

You weren't the perfect mom,
Sometimes you weren't even good,
But it's okay-I have things I would take back,
Only if I could.

You left me because you loved me,
You left me because you cared.
I'm happy about the good times,
And sad because we have nothing left to share.

Very well written. The rhyme scheme is simple and effective and the word choice is easy to understand. Both which make it easy to connect with. I love it.

a personall emotional poem with some obvious but well placed rhymes. Some believe poetry to be a good way of self therapy, a way of exoricing all that pent up reggression. Its good to write, its even better to write in a way that connects with other readers..... this you have done. Vincent
