Anyone Who Poem by Neela Nath Das

Anyone Who

Rating: 5.0

If anyone doesn't care
what will be the result?
A big zero.
Isn't it?
Lucy loves Nick,
Nick adores Simon
and Simon loves Dick.
Dick thinks girls
can't love, they
are mere coquette.
Still, in his pastime,
he remembers Lucy's face.
Nick and Dick decide not
to be in business of love.
They are twins.
They crack jokes
over their love-episodes.
Do you think
Lucy and Simon will
take renunciation
or will jump from the
bridge into the river,
or their condition will be
like that of Ophelia
or Juliet? ?
Nay, no.
They won't do anything.
Nothing serious happens
in love, except a mistake
like marriage.
Other things as suicide,
homicide are also
mistakes and accidents
by mad persons.
