April Poem by James Grengs

April

Rating: 3.6

April, you were
Too weepy.
You were cold, too.
I could not bear it.
Your tears, daily,
Drove me to my umbrella.
I could not live forever
Under the shadow of your showers.
Get a grip, April.
I have left you behind,
Though I may return
When I need your reassuring
Melancholy days.
