At last! The heat of an April day.
Catch up-sow beans and salad leaves,
Mow grass and love the tulips planted
Last year - jewels in pots. And primrose, daffodil
All round. And birdsong
Since early daybreak.
Seventh heaven!
But now it's tea -for one not two.
The chair is empty that held him
With a smile on his face as he
Watched me.
