It was Aprlil
that made me see
how much you like things lingually
jam and lollipops for tea
and lilies blazing by the fire

Armories
of lavender
and lambkins furry on the bough
Jalopies and the blue
below the pillows of the sea

Nettly legs
and gloaty billies
Languorous lights
and limpid nights
loop-ballooning lazy in the sky

Liffey retreat and lateral sleet
and Murphy liquid lingering close by
Lollopy leaps in licks and lakes
and antediluvian limpets leaning close

Certainlys and gingerlys
mightilys and lemonlys
Liverpool and lurcher dogs
and really surreally
pictures on the wall

Aprlil it lures along
delights the lassitude
