Archangel Poem by Suzanne Andersson

Last Tuesday week; up into the sky I did peek
The most amazing sight caught my eye
The perfect torso arms and face
A masterpiece by God's design
Like Michelangelo's David there was placed!
I was looking up into the endless skies
Upon the largest masterpiece in kind
How awesome and so magnificent
To see such power there inscribed!
A portrait of one of God's Archangels to be sure
So massive, there was scored!
Facing directly to the North
Face uplifted and partly hidden by that chin
Yet nose and eyes and forehead there
Even slightly curling hair!
Lord what was I witnessing?
What beauty, what magnificence was placed
Within my vision there!
Who would believe me if I told?
Of that masterpiece from God!
