Arched Memory Lane Poem by Prince Promise

Arched Memory Lane

Rating: 5.0

To yearn for something you may never have
To wish a wish that will never come
To cry a cry that never will end
To watch out for someone that'd never come
To fan wills with hills in hills

To rise each day without sweet memories of dreams
To sleep each night with diaries of worries
To fish one's living in abode of horrors
To ever desire some care in arms of heart yoked in another
To be helpless in voyage of lonely hollies.

To find no soul entangled to abide
To find no choice birthed for sake
To be rambling in thoughts farfetched
To be hell with same lips that healed
To find no solace in whose esteem care thy heart cleaves.

To take no pride any longer in whom thy choicesth
To yearn no longer for care uncut
To yell ever longer in the doom of soreness
To clock in tidings of reckless bids
To ache always in memories of forsaken.
