Are These The End-Times Then? Poem by Dr John Celes

What heinous crimes are done by evil minds?
Most innocents suffer in ways galore;
More men appear possessed by devils more;
Yet, man was made by God in His image!

The modern world is like pre-Noah's times;
Hi-tech is used to commit modern crimes;
The world is steeped in sins of grievous kinds;
Devils on rampage work through human minds.

Terrorists aim to annihilate earth;
Their conscience has gone blunt and quite inert;
The fruits of science are used to further sins;
Man tries to destroy earth, God made perfect.

Living appears disgusting and worthless;
Life's purpose seems so empty, meaningless;
The acts of satan are reckless, ruthless;
God puts on hold His wrath, nevertheless!

Are these the end-times then? We never know;
Is Christ's Second coming, so very near?
We must keep soul prepared for His Judgment;
The Armageddon seems so imminent!
