ARE YOU READY

Try to imagine a life without pain
A place where there is no rain
A place where peace easily flows
A place I someday want to go
This place here is not my home
I am trying to get myself ready for that day when Jesus comes
I will not have to worry about what people say
I can walk around and see my Savior's face
But I have to do all the things that are written that He says I must do
It is easy to get off track when you think everything you do is right
I try not to forget who is here for me when troubles come
The one who helps me stand when the pressures of life are in such great demand
The who pulls me up when I begin to fall
The one who tells me not my will but His be done
The one who tells me things will be great
All I have to do is keep my life straight
The one who never leaves me in times of fear
The one who dries away my tears
So I will do all the things He asks me to do
I want to see Him one day
How about you
It is up to us not to lose our trust
