Aren't We Lost In The Virtual Frame Poem by Preena Mathew

Aren't We Lost In The Virtual Frame

Aren't we lost in the virtual frame?
Glued to our phones...scrolling some name.
Everyone seems busy and lost in the crowd-
If we look around, it's the same.
You know what?
Everyone seems alone in a crowd.

Aren't we lost in the virtual frame -
Winning or losing in a game
Do we hear sirens play out?
Some notice while some ignore,
May be we are lost in the 'silence' all alone.
Do we mind being hooked to our phone?
But you know what...
Everyone seems alone in the crowd

We live in the virtual time frame,
May be it's about our money and fame.
Hardly take a look around
With a phone, we don't seem to be bound
To catch up with people around.
Everyone seems alone in the crowd

We live in the virtual frame..
Oh, do we care who sits next to us?
Everyone's deep dived into the phone.
Far from the present,
The phone has robbed us of our social eyes; we don't seem to care;
Not a smile, grin, or a glance somewhere.
Finger tips might work, but the body remains lame.
Aren't we lost in the virtual frame..
Aren't we lost in the virtual frame..
