Argot - Poem by Sathya Narayana

"Why not", I asked
‘Nay! Nay! I never meant that", she replied
I shivered and mumbled
"I'm sorry, I misunderstood"

Few weeks elapsed
I received a message from her
"You idiot, you never understand
A woman's argot"
