Arguement Poem by Naomi Waters

Arguement

Rating: 4.5

I shouldn't have lost my temper
The argument was caused by me
Its just...
He was treating me like an insignificance
Acting as if it burned when I touched him
Like my voice was poison
Did he realize how much he hurt me
Probably not
This CHILD doesnt know my past
He's not aware of what lurks in the dark
Its not paranoia its the truth
The real, ugly, and hideous truth
Eventually we all have to face it
When his fantasies fade
Cold, hard reality will be the only one to hold him
I wont be there as my revenge
Brings him to his knees

Been there and done that, unfortunally the world is full of people that treat others as insignificant, your poem puts the reader in your shoes and to do that is the trademark of a poet, great job! Full marks my friend
