They Call Me A Dreamer Poem by Naomi Waters

They Call Me A Dreamer

Rating: 5.0

Im a dreamer
Who sees the world differently
Unique individuality
These phrases I desire to define me
Yes, I see a night sky filled with stars
Lights that blaze cold and far away
This isn't what a dreamer thinks
They see hope where there is none
Determination burns when the wind is howling
I want to stop
The world in my mind is black and white
Something is either factual or wrong
Everything science can't explain isn't real
Ya I can say once, I was a dreamer
My heart beat to the sound of a drum
I was so naive
There isn't anyone who stays a child
Im an adult and adults aren't innocent
The soul I contain is filthy with sin
I can't be a dreamer when dreams...
Are what have dragged me down

They see hope where there is none. Determination burns when the wind is howling. Wonderful and powerful expression reflects idea of a dreamer. Wisely penned poem is shared.10
