Arnold Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Arnold

Arnold

I passed by and saw what
-reminded some good night
-with it I have fun and get shiver
-it was not his place…
-nor did I go inside
-it was at Arnold court

I worked in restaurant, pizza place
-came order to address
-I went there
-opening was delayed
-but voice came
-then the door rotated on hinges

Came to eye an angel, Aphrodite
-she was not a nymphet
-but young and her smile…
-and skin…

Can't go on, must stop
-feel fear of repeat
-heart attack, then will die

She knew what she had
-in clothes and exposed
-intended, meant to sell

We chatted for some-time
-she was a step down
-her lemons of Shiraz
-good in size were the guests
-to my sight and poor eyes
-they were thieves of my want
-she sure loved, dragged on…

Can't go on, must stop
-feel fear of repeat
-the same thing can go on
-I get a heart attack, if so die

Poor are men and in need of women…
