Bending tips Or digging pits-

To stop a plant from gaining altitudes

Just cut the shoot atop.

Yes the plant never attains a good height if it's cut from the tip, an early marriage in the teenage spoils the prospects and the altitudes of his/ her career. Nice symbolic poem Sir. 10++++

Cutting the shoot may stop the straight growth, but it promotes growth of new shoots from that point.. No one can stop growth completely that's the truth

Thanks Rini for reading it, yes the altitude can be killed, not the complete growth.
