As All Hope Dies Poem by dripping heart

As all hope dies, I look deep into your eyes
I try to seek out the pain....
I try to uncover these tears you hide...
But you have yet to find promise
you have yet to regain pride....

A heart born sad and broken...
There has been no escape from agony
only sorrow that continues to soaken...
What you've lived could barely be called a life....
How can one be so beautiful
and have to resort to the knife?

The only source of life is in your darkened eyes
and pale flesh...But what ever happened to your desire?
All you need is someone to care for you.....
Someone there to ignite the inner fire...

So promise me you will do one thing...
Promise to never let that heart die....
because hope will not abandon you
and neither will I....
