As Bill Sees It, #34. Poem by Tor Magnor Solvang

As Bill Sees It, #34.

We welcome all, no matter where they pray,
From every path, we light the way.
If God is real, in ways you see,
Then you are welcome, wild and free.

No single church, no creed we bind,
Just a helping hand, for heart and mind.
Christian, Buddhist, Muslim, Jew,
We're all the same, when we want to be new.

Imagine if they said, 'You must believe! '
If that were the rule, what would you achieve?
Turning away, with sorrow deep,
Lost to the promise, we aim to keep.

So open arms, a spirit bright,
For all who seek, in darkest night.
In A.A.'s home, a common ground,
Where healing's hope can still be found.
