As Fast As A Roaring Thunder Poem by Cynthia Aluning

As Fast As A Roaring Thunder

Rating: 3.9

Caught under a spell
lured with a magical style
engulfed with pretentions
disguised as another hero
a tornado wreaking havoc
swept as quickly as it came
days in April...
a fool's masquerade
broken dreams...
all a fancy whims
honey the pot
honey on the spot
honey come lately
honey coming soon
beware! honey new comer!
liar sets heart on fire
a bed of rosebuds?
or a dozen black roses?
memories keep knocking
but oh! the ego is keeping
a pen in the hand
a gun in the other
everything's shattered
as fast as a roaring thunder...

Scram!
