As I Sit Poem by Randy McClave

As I Sit

As I sit solemnly beside your grave
No longer do I feel so brave,
Now I don't feel anything
No longer do I feel like a king.
I thought that we had us a forever
Now, I feel only a never,
Now as I remember the days and the years
They are replaced by my tears.
For once in my life I know not what to do
As I sit and think I have not a clue
When now I open my eyes every morning
I again begin my mourning.
I don't know now why i wake up for
I truly don't know or understand why anymore
The reason why I sit alone and cry
That, I though know the reason why.
As I sit by your grave all alone
No one hears me as I sit and moan,
There I sit and ponder from many hours
But, I still bring flowers.
As I stare at that one lonely cloud above
I know there is my love,
Happily someday I know that is my fate
But, now in sadness and tears I must wait.
