As It Burns Poem by Aimee Rozen

As It Burns

Why am I the one who's crazy,
as the world around me churns?
The violence, destruction,
shall we all watch as it burns?
The ignorance I cannot share
that keeps you in your ways;
You're silent as I'm screaming,
while we hope for better days.
Your faith in lies and trust in faith
have led us on this path.
Our clouded minds and tainted souls;
we all deserve God's wrath.
